Upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS200: Bookings Open At Select Dealerships Ahead Of Launch
The upcoming update of the 200cc streetfighter is going to make the bike quite feature-loaded

Bajaj Auto appears to be giving the Pulsar NS200 a major update. Bookings for the updated motorcycle have opened at select dealerships, with dealer posters revealing several new features and hardware upgrades. While Bajaj has not officially announced the motorcycle yet, the changes suggest that the NS200 is set to become considerably more feature-packed.
Quickshifter And Four Ride Modes

The biggest addition to the updated NS200 is a quickshifter. This feature has already made its way onto the larger Pulsar NS400Z and now appears to be coming to the 200cc motorcycle as well. The updated NS200 is also listed with an electronic throttle, traction control and four ride modes. If confirmed, this would make it one of the most technologically advanced motorcycles in its segment. The electronic throttle could allow the different ride modes to offer different throttle responses, although Bajaj has not revealed how these modes will work.
New 5-Inch TFT Console

The NS200 is also set to get a new 5-inch TFT instrument console. The display is listed with Google Maps mirroring, allowing riders to access navigation information through the motorcycle’s screen. USB Type-C charging is another addition, while the switchgear is expected to be updated to accommodate the new electronics.
Hardware Upgrades

The updates extend to the motorcycle’s hardware as well. The updated NS200 will get 37mm upside-down (USD) front forks, replacing the conventional telescopic setup on the current motorcycle. It is also listed with radial tyres, which should complement the upgraded suspension and give the NS200 a more premium hardware package. The familiar muscular streetfighter design and split-seat layout are expected to remain. However, a new Nardo Grey colour with red alloy wheels has been revealed in dealer material, giving the motorcycle a sportier look.
More Power On The Way?
The dealer poster mentions 25.5 PS, suggesting that the NS200 could get a power increase over the current motorcycle’s 24.5 PS output. However, Bajaj is yet to officially confirm the final engine specifications.
BikeDekho Says
The brand has not yet announced the updated NS200’s launch timeline, but with bookings already open at select dealerships, though, the official launch could be around the corner. The NS200 is currently priced at Rs 1.38 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), with all these updates the pricing is expected to go up by Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,000.

- the best everThe Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is one of India’s most popular 200 cc streetfighter motorcycles, known for its powerful engine and sporty character. It’s powered by a 199.5 cc, liquid-cooled, 4-valve DTS-i engine that makes around 24.1–24.5 PS of power and ~18.7 Nm of torque, paired with a smooth 6-speed gearbox that delivers strong acceleration and a top speed near 140 km/h, making it fun for both city rides and highway cruising.Read More8 5
- The underrated gemThe first gen 200ns was the bike I fell in love with back then, so I always wanted one and hence got the current version of the bike. Apart from that the character of the engine and mainly the muscular timeless design and the sound...! The ride until now has been pretty pretty good, Yes there are some nacks here n there in terms of the build quality, fit n finish and some minor vibration aroun fron visor and rear seat, But the bike feels soo much emgaging to ride, everytime I'm on the bike it wants me to rev the engine all the way, and I find myself smiling inside my helmet. the major chunk of power comes above 6k rpm and that's where all the fun starts. All though the engine is much much more refined than the original 200ns but still you can feel that aggresive character in it. I feel the braking could have been better specially the organic brake pads, I think bybre was much better. And the abs kicks in a bit sooner than needed. In terms of handling this bike is such a gem, with the new usd forks its better than ever, the bike feels so like yet so stable on highways and once you get it into corners, then you can actually unleash the full potential of this machine, the chassis and dynamics are so good, the bike just flows into corners, I think bajaj can do better job for tyres as well, the bike demands 110 and 140 sections. But Bajaj being Bajaj, they had to do cost cutting so. Overal I'd say an amazing experience so far not a single moment of regret. All I have is satisfaction and the urge to get on my bike again and go out for a spin...! Okay so if you're someone who is very much into techy features and all those stuff then you should stay away, there are many other competitors who are much better. But i think that's not the purpose of this bike. This machine is for someone who just wants to have fun every time they get on the bike, someone who want to feel that rush and adrenaline surge into your veins everytime you ride the bike, someone who wants to lean how to ride fast the right way, someone who cares more about the engaging riding feel and experience rather than spec sheets filled with all the tech gizmos... You should definitely go and have a proper ride on this bike to fell all that beforehand atleast once..!Read More3 18
