The Hero Super Splendor Xtec 2.0 Disc variant is priced at Rs 88,044 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The monthly EMI will be the highest of the three options here at Rs 5,001; however, the overall interest burden is considerably lower at just Rs 6,559. Over the entire tenure, you'll repay a total of Rs 90,018, including both the principal loan amount and the interest.
24-Month Loan Tenure
The 24-month repayment plan is a middle-ground option that reduces the monthly EMI to Rs 3,840, making it easier on the pocket. The trade-off is a higher interest. Compared to the 18-month plan, you pay around Rs 2,142 more as interest. Over the two-year tenure, you'll pay Rs 8,701 in interest, with the total repayment amount adding up to Rs 92,160.
36-Month Loan Tenure
If keeping the monthly EMI as low as possible is your priority, the three-year repayment plan brings it down to Rs 2,681. However, the lower EMI comes at the cost of roughly Rs 6,500 more in interest compared to the 18-month plan. In this case, you'll pay Rs 13,057 interest, and the total amount you repay rises to Rs 96,516.
