BREAKING: Raptee.HV T 30 Electric Bike Launched in India

An electric bike which is compatible with car charging stations!

Quick Highlights:

  • Raptee.HV T 30 Launched in India

  • India’s First Electric Two-wheeler compatible with car charging stations.

  • Priced at Rs 2,39,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi)

Raptee.HV, a Chennai based startup has launched their electric bike, the T 30 in India. The highlight of the T 30 is that it is the first Indian electric two-wheeler that can be charged at a car charging station.

The Raptee.HV T 30 gets a clean and modern design, it is available in four colours: White, Red, Black and Grey. The bike looks very bulky from the front and has a slim tail section. The front end is dominated by the muscular tank section and the headlight which gets two diagonal LED DRLs. When you go towards the side, you will notice the T 30 has a sports cruiser like stance with upright handlebars and rear set footpegs, something which we have previously seen on the Bajaj Dominar 400. The tail section looks neat with a rectangular brake light and a split rear grab rail.

The Raptee.HV T 30 gets a 5.4kWh battery which makes 30PS and 70Nm and propels the bike to a claimed top-speed of 135kmph. It is said to do the 0-60kmph sprint in a claimed 3.5 seconds. Suspension duties are handled by an inverted fork and a preload adjustable monoshock, while the brakes include a 320mm disc at the front and a 230mm disc at the rear, mounted on 17-inch alloy wheels which get radial tyres.

The Raptee.HV is India’s first two-wheeler which is compatible with CCS2 car charging; it means that you can charge the T 30 at any high voltage car charging station. Raptee.HV claims that on a full charge, the T 30 is said to deliver an IDC estimated range of 200km which should translate to 150km in the real world. Raptee.HV claims that the 5.4kWh battery pack will charge 20-80 percent in 40 minutes in a regular car charging station. The bike will charge from 20-80 percent in an hour from the in-house charger provided by the company.

In terms of features, the Raptee.HV gets a TFT screen that is touchscreen compatible, gets in-built navigation, Bluetooth connectivity through the Raptee app which will tell you the ride details, and you will also get call/SMS notifications on the TFT screen.  The T 30 has three riding modes: Comfort, Power, and Sprint. The T 30 can also be locked and unlocked through Android/Apple smart watches.

When it comes to the price, the Raptee.HV T 30 is priced at Rs 2,39,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The T 30, at this price range does not have a competitor. Other electric motorcycles such as the Revolt RV400 or the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 either fall under or over the price range of the T 30.

Best Electric Bike In Segment

waiting for a long time for this. It's better than Ultraviolette if done right, It's engine and power gives Raptee more leverage than their competitors, while they could have added a bigger battery pack but they went with a smaller one due to the structure of the bike and their high voltage technology.Read More
