Bajaj Pulsar N125: Variants Explained
The bike is available in two variants and mainly differ in terms of the features and colour schemes on offer
The Bajaj Pulsar was launched recently and it is available in two variants: LED Disc and LED Disc BT. But how do they differ from each other? Let’s take a look:
LED Disc Variant
The LED Disc variant gets a smaller-sized LCD instrument console compared to that of the LED Disc BT variant’s console. It has an LCD inset in the console to display the speedometer, fuel gauge and odometer readouts. The negatively-lit screen on the right-hand-side shows regular tell-tale signs like the neutral gear position indicator, side-stand indicator and others.
This base variant gets a 100/90-17 rear tyre and a 80/100-17 front tyre along with a self-starter and kick starter as well. Colour options available for this variant are: Ebony Black, Cocktail Wine Red, Pearl Metallic White and Carribean Blue.
LED Disc BT Variant
The LED Disc BT variant gets a negatively-lit LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS alerts. It also gets an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) which helps in starting the motor silently.
This variant gets a wider 110/80-17 rear tyre and a80/100-17 front tyre and three colour options: Ebony Black - Cocktail Wine Red, Ebony Black - Purple Fury, and Pewter Grey - Citrus Rush.
Apart from these differences, rest of the specs are the same on both variants. The Bajaj Pulsar N125 is powered by an all-new 124.59cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 12PS at 8,500rpm and 11Nm at 6,000rpm and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. A telescopic fork and a monoshock forms the suspension setup while stopping the bike is a 240mm front disc brake and a 130mm rear drum brake. It has a ground clearance of 198mm, wheelbase of 1,295mm, kerb weight of 125kg, and a fuel tank capacity of 9.5 litres. It rivals the likes of the TVS Raider 125, Honda SP125 and Hero Xtreme 125R.
Bajaj Pulsar N125 User Reviews
At the time of selection I was curious in selecting one I already had a 150 in my home. bajaj is so reliable. the model is so cunning with heavy fuel economy with just a standard price offering many specification. If you are a new rider the n125 can be the best for you. The seat is not so comfort whereas the steering balance is buttery smooth. easily managed, smooth clutch and a refined engine ..with the Bluetooth connectivity it is always as easy to ride never before Best version of the 125 segment even competitor for the ns125 with my experience it is best to buy the n125 with all these features with a standard pricing leaving some of the features like tachometer, abs, gear indicator, switch lights..rest is worth for moneyRead More
