The leading sportbike brand in India- Bajaj Pulsar is going to introduce a unique concept of speed biking called the "Festival of Speed" starting March 5 onwards. Some of the motorcycle manufacturers like KTM and Honda are already into organising open track days for their customers in the country. However, the Bajaj Pulsar "Festival of Speed" is totally different from all of them.
This festival will give Pulsar customers a chance to indulge in a professional track racing for an ultimate biking experience. While the races will be open for all 200cc and above Pulsar customers, Pulsar RS200 customers will get a special chance to compete for the grand finale after undergoing a full day of professional training from the experts on the Madras Motor Race Track, Chennai. Each city will give 6 finalists who will then be coached and trained for the grand finale in MMRT, Chennai. The entire cost of their travel, stay, and training will be sponsored by the company and will come absolutely free for the top 36 finalists.
Touted as India’s first speed biking festival, the festival will be hosted in Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and Chennai to provide a fun filled extravaganza with Track racing competition, Skateboarding, Bicycle Motocross, Stunt shows, DJ performances, Rock concert and much more.
Commenting on this new initiative, Mr Sumeet Narang, Vice President – Marketing, Bajaj Auto Ltd said “Pulsar is the market leader in sports segment and it’s our endeavour to evolve the landscape and keep raising the bar of customer engagement. Conceptualising India’s first speed biking festival is another such offering for the sports biking enthusiast in the country. He further added, “We hope to physically involve & engage over 40,000 riders/enthusiasts across the country through the mega show this year. More than speed, Pulsar is also about adrenaline and fun and hence the festival has been so designed.”

Entry to this festival will be free for all Bajaj as well as competition customers. The grand finale will take place in Madras Motor Race Track, Chennai on the 16th Apr 2016 and will witness a larger than life scale of event first time in the country. The winner of the grand finale will be awarded with the first Pulsar Cup of the country along with prize money of Rs 1 Lakh.
