The bike comes with a fuel-injected, BS6-compliant motor

  • The Bajaj Pulsar 150 BS6 makes slightly lower torque than the BS4 model, but the power output has remained unchanged.
  • The output figures also arrive slightly later down the rev range.
  • Apart from the fuel-injected engine, the underpinnings have remained unchanged.

Just a day after we exclusively brought you the prices of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 BS6 range, the Pune-based bikemaker has launched the motorcycle. The standard Bajaj Pulsar 150 BS6 costs Rs 94,956, whereas the Bajaj Pulsar 150 Twin Disc BS6 version will set you back by Rs 98,835. This makes both the variants dearer than their BS4 counterparts by Rs 8,998. All prices ex-showroom Delhi.

For the added premium, the Bajaj Pulsar 150 BS6 packs a fuel-injected BS6-compliant engine. The motor makes the same power as before (14PS) but it arrives at 8500rpm, which is 500rpm later compared to the BS4 Pulsar 150. At 13.25Nm, the peak torque has gone down by 0.15Nm. It arrives at 6500rpm, which is 500rpm later compared to the BS4 variant. There have been no changes apart from the fuel-injected engine. Thanks to the emission-controlling equipment, the kerb weight has gone up from 144kg to 148kg. In terms of rivals, the bike will primarily go up against the recently-launched TVS Apache RTR 160 2V BS6.
