The Bajaj Freedom 125 is a bike for people who want to save money on fuel. It has a tank that can hold 2kg of CNG and it also has a small 2-litre petrol tank. Each variant of the Freedom 125 costs around Rs 7,000 to Rs 10,000 than the previous one.
All three versions have the 125cc engine that can run on CNG and petrol. They also offer good mileage, at 102 km per kg of CNG and 65kmpl in petrol mode. The expensive versions have better lights, brakes and connectivity features. Here is a brief overview of each version:

Every version of the Bajaj Freedom 125 has a braking system that links the front and rear brakes.
Bajaj Freedom 125 NG04 Drum (base variant)
The Bajaj Freedom 125 NG04 Drum is the basic version. It costs Rs 91,566, and has a halogen headlamp and a small LCD display. It does not have any connectivity features. The front brake is a 130 mm drum and the rear brake is a 110 mm drum. The rear tyre is 80/100-16. It comes in two colors: Pewter Grey and Ebony Black. This version is best for people who want to save money on fuel and do not need any features.
Bajaj Freedom 125 NG04 Drum LED (mid variant)
The Bajaj Freedom 125 NG04 Drum LED costs Rs 1,04,117, which is Rs 12,551 more than the basic version. It has an LED headlamp, a bigger 130mm rear drum, a fatter rear tyre (120/70-16) and three extra colors: Caribbean Blue, Racing Red and Cyber White. This version has some upgrades but it does not have any improvements in connectivity.
Bajaj Freedom 125 NG04 Disc LED (top variant)
It costs Rs 1,11,604, which is Rs 7,487 more than the middle variant. It has a 240 mm disc brake at the front which is a big improvement over the drum brake. It also has a premium reverse-LCD console with Bluetooth connectivity for basic functions such as call and SMS alerts. We’ve explained all the features for the Disc LED version in detail.
Which Version To Buy?
Best Pick
My pick is the top-of-the-line NG04 Disc LED, as it comes with better features. It costs Rs 20,038 more than the base version but it has two important upgrades: a front disc brake and a connected digital console. No other version has both of these features.
Best Value Choice
The best value is the NG04 Drum. It does not have fancy features but it is a good option for people who want to save money on fuel as its core mechanicals are the same as the mid and top variants.
Skip
The version that is hardest to justify is the NG04 Drum LED. It has a LED headlamp and a wider tyre, for better looks, visibility and handling (to a certain extent). However it does not have a disc brake or a connected console. The extra cost of Rs 12,511 over the version is mainly for aesthetic upgrades.

Baja. Freedom bio is ideal for long commute as it is fuel efficient, low maintenance and economical friendly. Dual fuel adds flexibility although slightly less powered but sufficient for travel without pillion and not much heavy luggage. Ridden 8000 plus kms ok pure CNG, less than 200kms used on petrol, I can say ride on CNG is reliable as Bajaj has been on CNG vehicles like in Auto rickshaw from decades. As said earlier it is slightly less powered but enough for single person travel. I would recommend as the bike itself is easy to ride although it is 148 kg but feels very lightweight while riding.
