The Cruise 220 will continue to be offered in divine black as well, and dealers say both colours will be sold at the same price Rs. 85,497/- (Ex-Showroom Delhi).

Bajaj gave the Avenger series a new lease on life with the introduction of the Street and Cruise series. Both models have been keeping Bajaj’s production line busy and the Cruise 220 has just received a rather flashy update. The model is now available in a ‘Desert Gold’ edition, and as the name suggests, this version sports a gold paint-job. Additionally, the new shade is accompanied by a brown seat upholstery.

Said to be inspired by sand dunes, the Desert Gold edition does seem like a play off the Royal Enfield Classic Desert Storm, but it also draws attention to the Yamaha Enticer which was also offered in a similar shade that was popular among buyers. The new Street 150, Street 220 and Cruise 220 did offer a wider range of options to buyers, but each model was available with only one colour option. The Street 150 is still available only in midnight blue, while the Street 220 is offered in matt black only. The Cruise 220 will continue to be offered in divine black as well, and dealers say both colours will be sold at the same price Rs. 85,497/- (Ex-Showroom Delhi).

Powering the Cruise 220 is a 220cc, single-cylinder, DTS-i engine that makes 19.03PS of power at 8,400 rpm and 17.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. Stopping power comes from a 260 mm disc brake up front and 130 mm drum at the rear. While the Street 150 and Street 220 get black alloy wheels, the Cruise 220 uses more classic spoke wheels (17-inch at the front and 15-inch at the rear).

Comfortable cruiser bike for both city and tours
Comfortable bike for both city and long highway touring. The seating posture is very relaxed and the engine feels smooth even on longer rides. It has good road presence, decent mileage for a 220cc bike and low maintenance cost. The bike is reliable for daily use and also perform well on weekend trips. Overall, a stylish and practical cruiser experience.

      It's Best bike
Its look is very good, even people of short height can drive it and after modification it looks very good. 3 people can sit comfortably. I have driven it a lot. I have it, that is why I want to buy a new one. I think it is very good and gives an average of between 45 to 55 and is very comfortable. I have already told you that this is a very good bike. It is seen in many places and I like it very much. This is a favourite bike of many people. This is a comfortable bike. While travelling on a long journey, it will not cause you much trouble, nor your hands experience any discomfort. I have seen many times that people get exhausted on long trips but this bike is very comfortable. In my opinion, you should buy this bike.

Best in the segment for Cruising
I chose this bike for the comfort in city as well as long rides. I have driven this bike for more 40K Km and I am happy with this bike. The only concern I have is about the safety as the leg guard is too short compared to the other bike and the as there is a gap from where you rest you feet for shifting gear and braking as it does not cover the feet. The ride is good, it is low maintenance if you take good care of the bike, also long routes are amazing as there is no fatigue. Cons is just about the handling as this a cruiser bike so it is not everyone ride. Definitely this bike is for the people who like comfort low maintanence. If you get a hand on the back seat then the comfort is next level. The mileage is good in the city and if you go for a long ride then you will get a good mileage which can be 40 plus.

      Long Term Ownership Review
The bike is super amazing even after owning it over 6 years it is smooth runs clean and has a muscular and aura refining road presence. Just the performance of the bike on uphill feels a bit low. Maintenance is also reasonable and the bike gives 35-40 kmpl average on daily commute. The seat is super comfortable for long touring and it can be used for 200-300 km long trips.
