4 Exciting Yamaha Scooters Unveiled At EICMA 2026
And one of them even has the Tenere 700’s engine!
Yamaha has unveiled as many as 4 scooters at EICMA 2026 and there’s quite some range in these 4. From electric commuters to full-blown adventure scooters powered by the Tenere 700’s engine, there’s quite some variety in this lineup.
For starters, there are the 2 electric scooters, the Xenter E and the NMax E. Their 7.5kW motor is paired to a 3.5kWh battery pack and produces 33.3Nm. On the Xenter E, the claimed range is 108km, while it’s 104km for the NMax E. Both scooters will be fully charged up in a claimed 5.5 hours. Features-wise, there’s a TFT console, Bluetooth connectivity, turn by turn navigation, etc., all the standard things we’ve come to expect from most scooters.
Next is the RW700, which is hands down the most exciting of the lot. Both variants of the scooter get Yamaha’s 690cc engine that we’ve seen in the Tenere 700 and the MT-07. It’s quite a fun and peppy engine so we’re excited that Yamaha has decided to put it in a scooter. Paired to Yamaha’s Y-AMT gearbox, riders can shift through the gears without having to engage the clutch.
There’s a 41mm USD fork and a monoshock. Suspension travel at the front is 160mm, while it’s 155mm at the rear, both pretty impressive numbers for a scooter. Even the 810mm seat height is pretty tall for a scooter.
And then there’s the RW350. As the name suggests, it has a smaller engine, a 330cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that has a CVT, riding modes, traction control, a TFT console and a lot more. Features wise, it has pretty much everything you could have asked for.
It’s highly unlikely that Yamaha will bring these scooters to India anytime soon. But the Japanese manufacturer will be bringing its bigger bikes to India soon and that’s something we’re very excited about.
