2026 Kawasaki Z900 Launched: Check What's New
Looks like Kawasaki just gifted this bike new Diwali attire!
Kawasaki India has launched the 2026 Z900 at a price of Rs 9,99,000 (ex-showroom). This makes the bike Rs 47,000 more expensive than the previous generation model. It now gets two new colours, which look nice, giving the bike a neat refresh for this Diwali.
What Is New?
The Kawasaki Z900 is now offered in 2 colours: ‘Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray / Metallic Flat Spark Black’ and ‘Candy Lime Green / Metallic Carbon Gray’. We are quite glad to see the iconic Kawasaki Candy Lime Green colour scheme being introduced, as it looks flashier than the all-black colour, while still not being in-your-face like the usual green colour schemes on Kawasaki bikes.
The Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Grey / Metallic Flat Spark Black, on the other hand, is a more subtle option. The copper-ish finish on the frame makes it look premium, but we wish the fork were finished in gold instead of black. Overall, both colours look nice, and Kawasaki has timed this launch well with the festive season.
What Remains Unchanged?
The bike is still powered by the same 999cc, liquid-cooled, inline four engine which produces 125PS and 98.6Nm.With the 2025 update, the bike has also received some much needed riding aids.

While the colour update is a welcome change for Z900 buyers, we feel the premium is a little too much as the changes are only in the colours department. That said, it could also be partly due to the new GST 2.0 regulations. As per the new GST, bikes with engine displacement of 350cc and above attract a flat 40% GST, a 9% hike than before. The good news is that some of the smaller-capacity Kawasaki bikes got cheaper, so if you’re looking to buy an affordable Kawasaki bike, check out the latest price list. - My time with Z900Popular option and high performance compared to competitors. The bike comes with a stylish look with adequate functionalities and features to ride in day to day life. The looks you get from people is always satisfactory. The bike offers comfortable riding upright position which helps both in city traffic and commuting, as well as long rides. Best performance comes on empty roads and highways where the real power and torque of this monster come into action.
