Launched in Indonesia, the updated scooter gets new colour schemes

    Quick Highlights :

    • Yamaha has launched the X-Ride 125 ADV scooter in Indonesia

    • The scooter is priced at Rp 20,78,5000 (Rs 1,09,928) without taxes

    • It now gets updated graphics and new colour schemes

Yamaha recently launched the X-Ride 125 in Indonesia at a price of Rp 20,78,5000  (Rs 1,09,928) without taxes. The scooter now gets updated colour schemes and graphics for 2025. Here’s everything about this updated 125cc adventure-themed scooter:

    What’s New

For 2025, Yamaha has given the X-Ride three new paint schemes: Sand, Blue, and Black Red. These new paint schemes also get similar looking new graphics. The multi-colour highlights on the graphics look pretty funky. The new colour schemes replace the older ones.

    What's Unchanged

Other than the new colours, Yamaha has kept the X-Ride unchanged, it retains the same ADV-inspired look with a high mounted front fender, an apron mounted LED headlight and an overall slim design. It also gets the same 125cc air-cooled engine which makes 9.52PS and 9.6Nm. It continues with a conventional telescopic fork with a rear gas-charged monoshock.

The scooter runs on 14-inch alloy wheels with an 80-section front and a 100-section rear street tyres. The scooter gets a front disc and rear drum brake setup with CBS (combined braking system). The X-Ride gets a seat height of 760mm, low kerb weight of 98kg (surprisingly light for a 125cc scooter) and gets a 4.2-litre fuel tank. The X-Ride 125 is quite a basic scooter in terms of features as it only gets an analogue speedometer, fuel gauge and odometer. Other than this, the scooter also gets an answer back system, which is basically a wireless tracker, which can be used to locate the scooter in a crowded parking lot.

    BikeDekho Says

With these new colour schemes added to the X-Ride 125, Yamaha has kept the price unchanged. While it certainly looks unique enough to grab attention, the scooter is quite basic in terms of features. This is especially when you compare it with our own Yamaha Ray ZR 125 which comes absolutely loaded with goodies. It gets a mild-hybrid tech, smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation and much more – all at a slightly lower price tag.

While the X-Ride 125 is unlikely to be launched in India, we’d like it if Yamaha gave the existing RayZR Street Rally larger 14-inch wheels to complete the rally-themed look. It anyway comes with block pattern tyres, so a pair of 14-inch wheels will certainly help it handle bad roads even better.
