2025 KTM 390 Adventure: What's New?
The bike now gets new looks, more powerful engine and TFT console from 390 Duke, and offers better off-road capability
KTM has launched the highly awaited 2025 390 Adventure in India, priced at Rs 3,67,699 (ex-showroom). It now comes with a new design, a bigger engine, and new features. The adventure bike is available in 2 colour options: Orange and White.
What’s different from the previous-gen 390 Adventure?
The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure is essentially a completely new bike and is very different from the older KTM 390 Adventure. It sports a new rally bike-inspired design that looks smashing and is functional too. The new 390 ADV gets a taller windscreen, a rally tower, raised fenders and a slim single-piece seat.
The new 390 Adventure is powered by a 398cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder LC4C engine, shared from the KTM 390 Duke, as compared to the older 373cc engine. The new engine produces a peak output of 46PS at 8,500rpm and 39Nm at 6,500rpm, which is 2.5PS and 2Nm more than the previous model. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter as standard equipment.
The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure features a new vertically-stacked projector headlight and gets the same 5-inch TFT instrument console from the 390 Duke. It also gets smartphone connectivity features offering call and SMS alerts, music controls and turn-by-turn navigation. The older 390 Adventure features the TFT console from the previous-gen 390 Duke.
Rider aids are more or less the same including switchable traction control, cornering traction control, multiple ride modes, cornering ABS and switchable ABS modes. Moreover, the new 390 Adventure also gets cruise control features.
The previous-gen KTM 390 Adventure has 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, with tubeless tyres. Whereas, the new 390 Adventure is fitted with 21-inch front and 17-inch rear tubeless spoke wheels.
KTM 390 Adventure Rivals:
The new KTM 390 Adventure competes with the other 300cc-500cc adventure bikes in the Indian market, including the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, the Yezdi Adventure, the BMW G310 GS, the upcoming TVS Apache RTX ADV and the upcoming Hero XPulse 400.
KTM 390 Adventure S User Reviews
I also have a Duke, Adv has covered all the issues which I have faced on Duke when I use to go on long rides, Ride is also plush coupled with a great engine which proves itself on all grounds. Also it has a decent fuel efficiency considering its engine performance. Bike's comfortable its mileage is also good I get a decent range, but the engine won't feel as raw as BS4 duke, great electronics and safety. Just having engine oil consumption on higher side. Also the Trampler tyres give more life than Turanzas which came initially. Long hauling person should definitely buy this bike, long rides are so hassle free. And comfortable, also if you have to carry any luggage they have provided good anchoring points. Tieing a back pack or a duffle bag is easy.Read More
I wanted one bike that could handle daily city rides, long highway tours and occasional bad roads. the riding posture, safety features and performance focus made this a perfect all rounder also the road presence is really exceptional Very confident and planted on highways, cruises comfortably at high speeds. Suspension feels great in the city and even better on rough roads. Engine is punchy and fun, mileage is really good for the power, love the throttle response and breaking capabilities Definitely yes, if you love touring, weekend rides and want performance with comfort. Ideal for pune's surprising roads, a little tall but perfect for riders who enjoy long rides, highways and light off-roading.Read More
