2025 Bajaj Dominar 400 Launched, Gets Lots Of New Features For Just Rs 6,000 Premium

It gets traction control, multiple riding modes, making it a much more wholesome tourer than ever

The 2025 Bajaj Dominar 400 has been launched at Rs 2,38,682 (ex-showroom, Delhi), and the bike now comes with a lot of new features. Interestingly, the new Dominar 400 already reached showrooms a while back. 

The biggest change in the 2025 Bajaj Dominar 400 is the addition of a new console, which is the same as the one we have seen on the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z. The console features a split display setup, with a dot-matrix inset. The addition of this new console has brought features such as smartphone connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation and call/SMS alerts.

Another major change is the addition of a ride-by-wire throttle (electronic throttle instead of a cable operated system). This has allowed the brand to offer a traction control system and riding modes. There are 4 riding modes: Rain, Road, Sport and Off-Road. The riding modes modulate power and ABS intervention, and in the Sport and Off-Road mode, the traction control can be switched off too. The addition of these features improves the bike’s overall safety quotient, making it easier for newer riders to manage.

Along with these changes, the bike now comes with a redesigned handlebar for slightly better comfort and a revised left hand-side switch gear to navitgate through the new console.

Lastly, the 373.5cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor is now OBD-2B compliant, keeping it in line with the latest emission norms. That said, it still produces the same output as before: 40PS and 35Nm. Along with all this, the Canyon Red colour scheme has also been reintroduced to the Dominar lineup.

The premium of Rs 6,026 is quite reasonable for the kind of features the bike has on offer, and the bike offers great value for money now. The updates also make it a bit more relevant than before. Its closest rival will be the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, which isn’t as powerful, nor does it have as many features as the Dominar.
