2022 Benelli VZ125i Updated For The Malaysian Market

 The 2022 Benelli VZ125i N1 gets three new colour options while mechanically it remains unaltered

Benelli has launched the 2022 iteration of the VZ125i which is priced at RM5,838 (around Rs 1.04 lakh). The affordable 125cc scooter has only received new graphics and three new paint schemes: light blue, yellow and red brown while everything else has remained unaltered. 

In terms of the styling, the 2022 Benelli VZ125i N1 gets a lean and sharp design complemented by its edgy body panels. The scooter also comes equipped with an apron-mounted LED headlight with DRLs and indicators. 

On the features front, it only gets an LCD instrument cluster that displays basic information such as speedometer, tachometer, and fuel gauge. 

The 2022 Benelli VZ125i N1 is powered by a 124cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that sits in a chine type frame and churns out 8.56PS and 9.2Nm. 

The ride of the scooter is taken care of by a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile, for braking, it employs a 220mm disc upfront and a drum brake at the rear. 

While the scooter has been updated in the Malaysian market, there's no word from the brand about its India launch. However, here in the country you can have a look at the other 125cc scooters such as the TVS NTorq 125, Suzuki Avenis, Honda Grazia and the Hero Maestro Edge 125.
