2021 Revolt RV400: Same Price, Other Options

What else could you get for around Rs 90,799, if the Revolt RV400 doesn’t cut it for you?

What else could you get for around Rs 90,799, if the Revolt RV400 doesn’t cut it for you?

Revolt recently slashed prices of the RV 400, thanks to the revised Fame-II subsidies announced by the Centre. The bike now costs Rs 90,799, which is Rs 28,201 less than before. This not only makes the bike a more value-for-money proposition but also puts it in a better position to compete with ICE-powered motorcycles in this segment. However, some of you may not  be entirely convinced with the idea of getting the RV 400, so here’s what else you can get for around the same price.

Honda SP 125 Disc - Rs.81,441

How weird is it that 125cc motorcycles are now more affordable than 125cc scooters? But that’s unfortunately the reality. On the bright side, you can get yourself a Honda SP 125 for as little as Rs 81,441 (ex-showroom). There’s no doubt that it's a quality product with Honda’s stamp of reliability, helped by  a comprehensive service network. Considering the addition of fuel injection,  build quality, and all the new features and equipment on offer, the SP does make a good case for itself. Read the review here.

Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon Split Seat - Rs.82,989

The Pulsar 125 is a veteran in this segment. The downsized package offers the same muscular styling and sporty DNA but in a stress-free, relatively more affordable package. It makes a lot of sense for novice riders looking for a motorcycle with a bit of oomph without having to break the bank. For Rs 82,989, the Pulsar 125 offers more performance along with the safety net of single-channel ABS, which, if you ask us, is a darn good deal!

Suzuki Burgman Street Bluetooth Rs 86,200

For around Rs 4,000 less, you can get yourself the Burgman Street, which was last updated with a Bluetooth console. The family-oriented scooter has a lot going for it -- from a comfortable riding posture and plenty of storage to LED lights and maxi-scooter styling. Plus, the console offers features like turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS/WhatsApp alerts, Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) updates, phone battery level indicator, and overspeeding alert. Worth the money if you ask us.

Bajaj Chetak Urbane - Rs 1,00,000

But if you want something that’s a bit more practical while being easier on the environment, the Chetak may be your best bet. Its neo-retro design has a special place in our hearts. It’s powered by a Bosch-developed BLDC motor capable of generating 16Nm of peak torque and a claimed top speed of 60kmph. The motor is linked to a non-removable IP67-rated 60.3Ah lithium-ion battery that offers a claimed range of 95km in Eco mode and 85km in Sport mode. An 80 percent charge is achieved in 3.5 hours.

It’s loaded with features too, ranging from LED lights and smartphone connectivity to  an LCD instrument cluster and keyless operation. We have ridden the scooter, and here’s what we think of it.

Best bike for reliability!

I chose this bike because this is the most reliable bike in this price range and it is easy to trust electric bike for reliability. Other bike in this price range is ola roadster but that is not reliable and trustful. I rode this for long rides. Since I have this bike from last two years, I never faced any big problem like immediately switch off like other but with time its power slightly gets down which is normal and better. I bought this because from past 2 years this bike saved my fuel cost which will be equivalent to the price of bike so even it gets unusable after 4-5 years, this will not made impact because you can save very much fuel.Read More
