It was a big statement of intent on the part of Harley-Davidson when they introduced their next big twin, the Milwaukee Eight 107 adn 114. These engines came with precision cooling, an eight valve head and more importantly a counterbalancer shaft. These helped the new generation of big Harleys have a wider and welcoming appeal to them. The Touring series of Harley was the first to receive them. Of them, the easiest option to get one bagger is the Road King. The 60's styling worked well with the modern thrust of the Milwaukee Eight 107 to make the Road King a great buy. It is also the cheapest of the Harley Touring bikes in the country with the base black colour retailing for Rs 24.99 lakh while the custom colour edition goes up to 29.30 lakh, all prices ex-showroom India.
