Overview
The Ducati Streetfighter V2 is a naked motorcycle from the Italian bikemaker. Though it is based on the Panigale V2, the Streetfighter V2 ditches the fairing for an aggressive, street-ready design, while retaining the heart-pounding performance Panigale is known for.
Ducati Streetfighter V2 Price
In India, the Ducati Streetfighter V2 is priced at Rs 18,50,200 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Ducati Streetfighter V2 Colours
The Streetfighter V2 is offered in two shades: Ducati Red and Storm Green. While the Storm Green is an attractive colour scheme, it is the Ducati Red which steals the show.
Ducati Streetfighter V2 Variants
Currently, the Streetfighter V2 is offered in a single, fully loaded variant.

Ducati Streetfighter V2 Design
The design of the V2 is muscular, sharp and unmistakably Ducati. It features aggressive LED headlights, sculpted bodywork, a stubby tail and an exposed frame. The design balances form and function with multiple air channels, a sporty riding posture and uses lightweight materials to enhance its performance.

Ducati Streetfighter V2 Engine
Powering the Streetfighter V2 is a 955cc Superquadro L-twin engine that makes 153PS and 101.4Nm. It’s the same engine as the Panigale V2 but tuned differently for street use. The V2 is a great bike for spirited street riding and occasional track days, provided you can handle the windblast.

Ducati Streetfighter V2 Features
The Streetfighter V2 comes loaded with electronics. It features a 4.3-inch TFT console, 3 riding modes (Wet, Road and Sport), cornering ABS, switchable and cornering traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control and even a bi-directional quickshifter. It also supports smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth.

Ducati Streetfighter V2 Chassis, Brakes, Wheels, Suspension
The bike uses a monocoque aluminium frame derived from the Panigale. It features a fully adjustable 43mm Showa fork and a Sachs monoshock. Brakes include Brembo M4.32 callipers with twin 320mm front discs, and a 245mm rear disc. It gets 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres. They’re ideal for twisty hill rides or a track session as they provide excellent grip. The bike has a seat height of 845mm, which is a bit tall for most Indian riders, has a fuel tank capacity of 17 litres and weighs 200kg kerb.

Ducati Streetfighter V2 Competition
The Ducati Streetfighter V2 competes with other sub-1000cc middleweight naked bikes such as the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP, KTM 890 Duke R, and the Triumph Street Triple 765RS which makes similar power despite having a much smaller engine. While the Honda is the most affordable bike followed by the Triumph, and then the KTM, it is the Ducati which is the most expensive bike of the lot.

- Amazing Performance BikeHaving previously owned a Panigale 899 and a Panigale V2, I have a soft spot for the baby Panigale platform, and I've always found it to be an easier bike to ride hard and enjoy on the road than the V4. The Streetfighter V2 is based on the same engine, chassis, and technology platform as the Panigale V2, but it isn't the same, aside from the obvious changes to a naked machine. To be honest, I adore the Streetfighter V2's design. It's aggressive, bold, and everything I want in a naked bike, though to be honest, I'd like a little less plastic and a little more carbon for the price - and no, I don't want to add some wings. Although the cockpit is a little small, the dash is easy to use and the riding posture is extremely lovely and roomy, with those big, wide 'bars allowing a nice, upright riding stance. It's worth noting, though, that while it's spacious, the seat height is somewhat high if you're on the shorter side of the spectrum. Heating issues are there to accompany you in city traffic and now it's even worse. At last, the looks of this beauty are incomparable it's a pugnacious little machine and not to forget it's a crazy eye candy with its angry eyes.Read More2
