Overview
Ducati Multistrada V2 Overview
The Ducati Multistrada V2 is a road-biased adventure tourer. It gets styling inspiration from the Multistrada V4 and comes loaded with essential features.

Ducati Multistrada V2 Price
The Ducati Multistrada V2 is available in two variants: V2 and V2 S priced at Rs 18.88 lakh and Rs 20.99 lakh (respectively). The V2 S is priced higher as it offers a quickshifter, and semi active suspension setup.
Ducati Multistrada V2 Colour Options
The Ducati Multistrada V2 is available in a single colour option called the Ducati Red, while the V2 S is available in the Ducati Red paint scheme as well as the Storm Green colour option. We personally like the Ducati Red paint scheme a bit more, as it makes the bike look sportier.
Ducati Multistrada V2 Design
The Ducati Multistrada V2 follows the same design language as the Ducati Multistrada V4. With its sharp and aggressive lines, well-designed fairing and a clean-looking tail-section, the V2 looks quite appealing. From the front it looks tall and bulky thanks to its tall windscreen visor, and signature beak. From the side it looks proportionate and the dual tone paint scheme suits the overall look of this Italian adventure tourer.

Ducati Multistrada V2 Engine
The Ducati Multistrada V2 gets an all new 890cc V-twin motor which makes 115PS at 10,750rpm and 92.1Nm at 8,250rpm. This motor gets a IVT (Intake Variable Timing) system which has a valve clearance check interval of 45,000km. Other than this, the motor is also 9kg lighter than the previous iteration, weighing in at 54.4kg only.
Ducati Multistrada V2 Underpinnings
The Ducati Multistrada V2 uses an all new light weight aluminium frame. It uses a fully adjustable 45mm inverted fork and rear monoshock both offering 170mm of travel. The bike runs on a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear alloy wheel setup with 120-section front and 170-section rear Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2 tyres. Other than this, the bike comes with an adjustable seat height of 830 to 850mm and the fuel tank capacity is 19 litres. The bike now weighs 202kg (kerb) – that makes it quite light. For reference, the KTM 390 Adventure weighs 182kg kerb.

Ducati Multistrada V2 Features
The Ducati Multistrada V2 comes packed with features including all LED lighting, a 5-inch TFT console, and five riding modes: Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro, and Wet. It comes equipped with cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control, and cruise control for enhanced safety and comfort. The V2 S variant also adds Ducati Skyhook semi-active suspension with a seat lowering functionality, along with a bidirectional quickshifter and Ducati Brake Light EVO for emergency braking alerts. Other highlights include keyless ignition, a USB charging port, adjustable seat height, and improved aerodynamics and comfort for long-distance touring. A lot of these features are the same as on the Multistrada V4, which increases the value-for-money quotient of the bike.

Ducati Multistrada V2 Competition
The Ducati Multistrada V2 competes with the Triumph Tiger 900 GT and the KTM 890 Adventure R, both of which are significantly more affordable than the Ducati Multristrada V2.
