    Overview

    The German auto maker sells its premium adventure bike in the country christened as BMW F 700GS. It comes with sharp body dynamics and promises a superior performance. The bike is propelled by a 798cc, in-line two cylinder, water-cooled engine that comes mated to a six-speed constant mesh gearbox. It produces a maximum power of 75bhp at 7,300rpm with a peak torque of 77Nm at 5,300rpm. The bike uses wet multiplate clutch assembly and hits a top speed of 192kmph. Furthermore, it features an electronic intake pipe injection system with BMS K+ digital engine management system to handle the engine operations intelligently.

    The bike runs on 110/80-19 front and 140/80-17 rear tyres equipped with stylish cast aluminium alloy wheels. The suspension system of the bike has 41mm telescopic forks at the front and cast aluminium with adjustable mono-shock absorber at the rear. The braking duties are carried out impressively by 300mm dual disc brake with twin piston calliper at the front and 265mm disc brake with single piston calliper at the rear. The bike features an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) to improve safety and stability. The ABS can be switched off when required giving a delight to the stunting folks.

    BMW F700 GS is crafted on a tubular steel space frame that gives a tough skeleton for its body structure. The front profile gets a dual headlamp section comprising a larger and a smaller curved rectangular shaped headlights. The appearance gets enhanced by the incorporation of clear lens turning blinkers and a raised secondary fender along with the primary one. The instrument console is uniquely designed having analogue speedometer and tachometer dials fitted vertically. The arrangement also displays digital readings for fuel gauge, clock, trip meter and engine oil temperature in a separate rectangular screen. BMW F 700GS has a fuel tank of 16 liter capacity. BMW F 700GS measures 2,280mm x 880mm x 1,215mm (LxWxH). The bike comes with a standard seat height of 820mm, which is adjustable between 764.5mm to 835.6mm. This feature is available as an option with the bike.

    8th April, 2015: BMW F 700GS is a powerful adventure motorcycle offered by the renowned Bavarian auto giant. It comes with a 798cc, four stroke engine that develops 75bhp of power and 77Nm of torque. The bike comes with many advanced features like a switchable ABS and an adjustable seat. BMW F 700GS comes in three impressive colour schemes: Black Storm Metallic with Racing Red, Alpine White and Racing Blue Metallic Matte. The bike currently comes in India via CBU (Completely Built Unit) route. However, as per recent reports, the manufacturer is planning to assemble it locally which will bring a huge downfall in its price.
