Playing with graphics and new paint schemes is the favorite game of Yamaha Motor India. We have seen lots of visual changes in its range of 150cc motorcycles. Now, the company is providing additional graphics kit for its latest family scooter- Alpha at selected Yamaha dealerships. The kit costs around Rs. 625 (can vary at different dealerships) extra over the price of the standard model.

The Yamaha Alpha graphical kit contains racing decals with 'Alpha ?' monogram for the side panels, front apron and mudguard. It also receives a premium '?' badge for the centre of front panel. It is the most affordable way to enhance the overall appearance of the scooter and make it sportier.

Propelling the Alpha is a 113cc, 4-stroke, forced air-cooled engine, which churns out 7bhp of maximum power and a peak torque of 8.1Nm. The engine is powered by the BS24 carburetor with Throttle Positioning Sensor to provide better efficiency and lesser emission.

Along with all the basic features of an automatic scooter, Yamaha Alpha comes with the best in class under-seat storage of 21-litres. The standard model of the scooter has been priced at Rs. 47,735 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and it stands in competition with Honda Activa and TVS Jupiter.

This is the best vehicle for all age groups and the pillion seat is also comfortable. The scooter gives the best fuel economy and pickup as well.
