Upcoming BMW S 1000 RR Spied testing

The bike looks more aggressive than ever

The upcoming BMW S 1000 RR has been spotted testing in Germany, Nürburgring Nordschleife. The bike looks much sharper and more aggressive than the current model. The test mule features sleek twin LED headlamps. New aerodynamic winglets add to its aggressive styling and are expected to generate more downforce at high speeds, improving stability.

The spy shots revealed that the bike gets a larger TFT display than the outgoing model. Furthermore, it gets updated switchgear that replaces the jog wheel. It could mean a redesigned user interface on the console.

The bike is suspended on a fully electronically adjustable USD fork and a monoshock. Braking duties are taken care of by twin discs at the front and a disc at the rear with what seem to be Brembo Hypure brake calipers.

BMW has not made any official announcement about the next-generation S1000 RR launch. But from the looks of it, the bike looks production-ready. And we can expect the bike to be showcased maybe at EICMA this year
