With the clip-on handlebars and other modifications, the bike looks like a proper cafe racer

K-Speed Customs, a Thailand-based bike modification shop, has unveiled their latest build based on a Triumph bike. This time it’s a cafe racer based on the Triumph Speed 400 called the ‘Diabolus Cafe Racer’. This modified Speed 400 looks quite rugged and can easily give the upcoming Triumph Thruxton 400 a run for its money.

The Diabolus Cafe Racer comes with a lot of changes that have transformed the stock Speed 400 from a roadster to a cafe racer. First come the new clip-on handlebars which will change the upright riding posture on the bike to a sportier and more committed stance.

In terms of design, K-Speed has made a couple of changes. The first of which is a new headlight: this one is a bit sleeker and gives the front section a smaller profile. The instrument console has also been shifted and is now placed below the fuel tank. The fuel tank also gets a tank cover from K-Speed

Coming to the engine side, the crank case comes with panels that feature a machine finish in matte black. The exhaust is a custom unit from K-Speed and is a smaller one which extends till the bike’s underbelly.

At the rear, the Diabolus Cafe Racer comes with a chopped subframe and tail section giving the bike a smaller profile overall. In terms of underpinnings, the bike hasn’t seen any changes made except the addition of new Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3 tyres.

All the modifications on the bike have been done using custom parts from K-Speed and customers who are interested in modifying their Speed 400 can buy the parts individually from their official website. The parts can be shipped for zero shipping costs but it will likely attract import duties so it is best to reach out to the custom house for more details.

Additionally, K-Speed has also listed the Diabolus Cafe Racer on their Japanese website and it comes at a price tag of Rs 10,43,400 which is a massive jump from the Speed 400’s ex-showroom price of Rs 2,34,497.
