With a view to keep its scooters fresh and relevant, Suzuki recently launched new colours for the Access 125 SE and the Burgman Street 125. And now, the brand has introduced two new trims for the Access 125 - standard and special edition priced at Rs 59,891 and Rs 61,590 (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. The new variants are offered with alloy wheels and drums brakes which have been launched to cater to the rising demand for alloy wheels in the Indian market. Aside from this, the scooter remains unchanged.
To put things into perspective, Suzuki sold the Access 125 in two variants - the base variant which included steel wheels with drum brakes and the special edition model which featured alloy wheels with disc brakes. It’s powered by the same 124cc, single-cylinder engine which produces 8.7PS at 7000rpm and 10.2Nm of peak torque at 5000rpm. The scooters refined engine, features and neo-retro styling are what helps it outsell rivals like the TVS NTorq 125, Honda Grazia, Hero Destini 125 and the Honda Activa 125.

New Delhi, Aug 12, 2019: Offering more choice to customers, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), a subsidiary of the two-wheeler manufacturer, Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, today introduced the alloy wheel with drum brake variant of its highly successful scooter – Suzuki Access 125. New variant is launched to cater to the rising demand for alloy wheel option in scooters. The Suzuki Access 125 is one of the best-selling family scooter in India and the newly launched variant is available across the country at Suzuki dealerships.
Speaking on the new variant, Mr. Devashish Handa, Vice President- Sales, Marketing & After-Sales, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. The new Suzuki Access 125 is powered with all aluminum 4 stroke, single cylinder 124cc engine with cutting edge Suzuki Eco Performance technology which produces 8.7ps@7000rpm and 10.2Nm@5000rpm and boasts of an impressive fuel efficiency. It also offers M-Squish combustion chamber which further enhances engine performance.
The new variant is equipped with Suzuki easy start system, long seat and enlarged floor board for a relaxed riding position. Furthermore, the scooter is designed with chrome plate finish, stylish headlamp, digital meter, oil change indicator and dual trip meter; making it a stylish as well as a utilitarian offering for all riders. Also, it comes up with Combined Brake System (CBS) which enables to operate both brakes only by left brake lever to keep good balance between the front and rear brake forces. Along with CBS, the scooter is also equipped with Central Locking and unique Safety Shutter for its security.
The new Suzuki Access 125- alloy wheel with drum brake variant is available in 4 colour scheme - Pearl Suzuki Deep Blue, Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Matt Fibroin Gray and Pearl Mirage White. It will also be available in Access 125 Special Edition (SE) variant in existing 4 colours - Matte Bordeaux Red, Metallic Matte Black, Metallic Sonic Silver and Pearl Mirage White. The scooter is priced at INR 59,891 (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and the Special Edition retails at INR 61,590 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

- The scooty is going to save you a lot of money in servicing as maintenance is easy. - Ride is comfortable, even if you are a heavy person like me. - Mileage I get from this scooty is around 40 to 45 Kmpl. - Storage space is quite sufficient for 1 helmet under the seat. Also you have storage in the front, that you can use for regular shopping. - The pillion seat is quite low so, mounting on the bike won't be an issue for the elderly people. Like my father.

Smooth riding, Nice pickup and good control of the brakes, stylish look, good for men and womens. Lengthy seats, good for mom's to pick and drop the school going kids. Very spacious legroom. Bags/luggages can be kept... Comfort in riding, Less maintenance oil change indication, bluetooth connection, trips etc.

The Suzuki Access 125 ride connect is very smooth and reliable scooter. The pickup is good and the engine feels refined while riding in the city. The bluetooth feature is very useful because it connects with the Suzuki ride connect app and shows navigation on the speedometer. The seat is comfortable and the mileage is also good around 45-50km/l. The breaking with front disc and CBS is safe and responsive. Overall it is a stylish, comfortable and low-maintenance scooter, perfect for daily use.

Overall good. Everyone knows suzuki access is a good scooty. With regards to mileage, pick up and safety evrything is great. Looks stylish and seat capacity is also huge can easily accommodate 2 people. Headlight is amazing too in the darker roads upper and lower lights both work very well and have the capacity of capturing larger areas in dark atleast better as compared to other brands.

Initially the stock battery was very worst, it used to dry very often. And sometimes there is a vibration when I start the vehicle and run on low rpm, even the showroom didn't rectify it. Maintence is subjective to users, if we dont service often, it will show side effects like vibration, sound, pickup issues etc. Speed, Mileage, Comfort all are fine
