Suzuki Motorcycles India has revealed the e-Access scooter at Auto Expo 2025. The e-Access comes with a sporty and futuristic design, a departure from the petrol-powered Access 125’s family-oriented approach.

Here’s what it gets:

The Suzuki e-Access comes with three dual-tone colour schemes – Metallic Mat black No.2/Metallic Mat Bordeaux Red, Pearl Grace White/Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray and Pearl Jade Green/Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray.

The Electric Access is equipped with an electric motor that delivers a peak output of 4.1kW and 15Nm. It comes with a 3.07kWh battery pack that delivers a claimed range of 95km per charge. It has a top speed of 71kmph. The e-Access takes 6 hours and 42 minutes to charge from 0 to 100 percent using a portable charger. The electric scooter charges in just 2 hours 12 minutes, using a fast charger.

The electric version of the Access comes with LED lighting all around and a TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity. It displays the speedometer, odometer, range, battery, tripmeter and other basic readouts. Connectivity features on the electric scooter include turn-by-turn navigation and traffic updates. The e-Access comes with three ride modes Eco, Ride A and Ride B. It also gets a keyless start, and you can lock/unlock the scooter from a distance.

The Suzuki e-Access scooter gets a telescopic fork and a monoshock. It comes with a disc brake at the front and drum brake at the rear. The electric scooter has 12-inch alloy wheels, wrapped with 90-section tubeless tyres on both ends. It has a seat height of 765mm which is slightly lower than the standard scooter, and a ground clearance of 165mm which is 5mm higher than the petrol-powered Access. The kerb weight of 122kg is also about 20kg higher than the regular Access 125.

Rivals:

Once launched, the Suzuki e-Access will go up against the other electric scooters such as TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ather Rizta, Ola S1 Air, the upcoming Honda Activa e: and the Vida V2.

Expected Price & Launch Date:

The Suzuki e-Access could be launched sometime in 2025. It is expected to be priced at around the Rs 1.20 lakh to Rs 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom) mark.

E-Access - Accessibility over High Performance.

wanted an electric alternative. had an activa generation 2 before this. rented this from a friend in another state and have been riding it ever since. And since suzuki has their own platform for e-service, i was interested to ride it and check it out overall. about alright. suspension is on the stiffer side but overall smooth! the seat comfort and height is very friendly, as compared to other scooters in the market, anyone in the 5ft in range can easily ride this without any fear. I would recommend this bike only if you ride short distances. This is the kind of EV that offers average range as compared to the bigger brands that have been around for a decent bit, not to name any names. Overall, a 3.8 rating from my end is a good standard rating.Read More
