The new Triumph Tiger Explorer motorcycles has been recently spotted while undergoing trial runs in Europe. The bikes are expected to be showcased at the 2015 EICMA, which is scheduled in Milan, Italy next month. The new Tiger Explorers are rumoured to come with slight technological upgrades to help them boost their all-round capabilities. The bikes seem production ready and have been snapped in two colours - Red and Black.

One of the two un-camouflaged test mules had a “Tiger Explorer XRT” badge over the fuel tank that suggests that the bike will sit at the top of the touring range. The red coloured bike has also been spotted with WP semi active, electronically adjustable suspension while other entry-level XR and XC models come with Kayaba shock absorbers. The new range will be getting Brembo brakes as standard to refine the braking experience even more. As per the first impressions, the new bikes will come bestowed with a restyled body, new wheels and an upgraded electronic package. On the other hand, the black coloured test mule has also got semi active suspension and is expected to named as the XCA or the XC Adventure. Built to fulfill off-roading needs, this might be the most pricey machine in the Tiger 800 lineup. Along with the spoke wheels, the bike also gets several bolt-on benefits such as crash bars, top box, fog lights and panniers.

The addition of these new bikes to the Tiger range will surely help the buyers choose their adventure companion in a more refined and easy way. Once launched, Triumph Tiger Explorer will rival against leading litre-class tourer motorcycles like the BMW R1200GS and KTM 1050 Adventure.
