Ola Electric has recently launched the Gen-3 S1 Pro Plus electric scooter, starting at Rs 1,54,999 and going up to Rs 1,69,999 (ex-showroom) for the top S1 X Pro Plus. The S1 Pro Plus is the new flagship Ola scooter and comes with a more powerful electric motor than the S1 Pro. It also gets a new battery pack which is made of Ola’s Bharat cells, and gets many first-in-the-segment features like dual channel ABS, chain drive, cruise control and more.

The Ola S1 Pro Plus is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen with Ola’s new MoveOS 5 update. It also offers smartphone connectivity features including, navigation, call and SMS alerts, music controls, maintenance alerts, OTA (over-the-air) updates, and Ola Electric App connectivity. The display gets a new Bharat theme as well, and you also choose your preferred display themes from the other available themes. It also gets a DIY mode to adjust regen, top speed, power and throttle sensitivity.
The S1 Pro Plus offers keyless operation and gets a digital key in the form of a code, instead of a physical key. It has a 34-litre boot storage which is also accessible through the Ola Electric application, by which you can unlock the scooter remotely. The Ola flagship scooter has all LED lighting, along with a side stand alert. It also gets a vacation mode for parking the scooter in deep sleep for a long time, so that it doesn’t lose much charge.
The Ola S1 Pro Plus has four ride modes: Hyper, Sports, Normal and Eco. Other rider-aid features on the electric scooter include a reverse mode, advanced regen, multi-mode traction control, cruise control, and brake-by-wire technology for more controlled braking. The S1 Pro Plus is equipped with a dual-channel ABS and has a chain drive as well.
The top-of-the-line Ola S1 Pro Plus 5.3kWh variant has a mid-mounted electric motor that delivers a peak power of 13kW and delivers a 320km claimed IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) range. The electric scooter offers a claimed acceleration time of just 2.1 seconds to go from 0 to 40kmph and has a claimed top speed of 141kmph, which is almost similar to many 150-200cc sport bikes.
