Okinawa will be launching the Okhi90 – likely its flagship electric scooter – tomorrow. The company had already teased the e-scooter a couple of times, and it’s unlike any other products in Okinawa’s stable.
The Okhi90 was also spotted testing some time ago. It features a sleek styling with large, distinctive 14-inch alloys. Going by the spy shots, the motor is likely to be mid-mounted, making it the first product in the company’s lineup to have one. The battery compartment could be under the seat, and it could be removable as well. As far as claimed range is concerned, a triple-digit figure seems safe to expect from the EV maker. The performance on offer could be equivalent to that of a 110cc petrol-powered scooter.

The Okhi90 is loaded with an all-LED lighting system, and a full LCD instrument console. It could also get smartphone connectivity, and the company will manufacture the e-scooter at its plant in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan.
The Okhi90 will go up against the Ola S1, Ather 450 Plus, TVS iQube Electric and Bajaj Chetak electric scooters. More details will be revealed tomorrow, so stay tuned!
