The bike’s official price has allegedly been leaked by a dealer in Indonesia
An official launch for the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R is just around the corner, but obviously with a bike as hot as this, we can’t wait. Which is why the news of its price being leaked has got us all extremely curious and excited. A while ago, official prices of the bike had emerged in New Zealand, when the local Kawasaki dealers had briefly opened bookings for the model. Now, though, they seem to have been leaked by a dealer in Indonesia.
The Rs 7.90 lakh price tag in NZ had got us all quite worried, but the Indonesian numbers are a slightly less frightening affair. The bike will be available in two variants: one without ABS and one with. The more affordable version will set you back by 98,800,000 Indonesian rupiah or around Rs 5.10 lakh, while the ABS-equipped variant will be priced at 114 million rupiah or Rs 5.86 lakh.
If it were to ever come to India at these prices, the ZX-25R would be neatly placed between the Ninja 400 and the Ninja 650. If the leaked power figure is anything to go by, the ZX-25R will sit between the 400 and the 650 in terms of both price and performance. Unfortunately, we don’t think a bike as radical as this will be sold by Kawasaki in India. But then we didn’t think the H2R would be available here either, so you never know….
