Hero MotoCorp silently launched its one of the most interesting products unveiled at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo- Splendor Pro Classic in India at an on-road price of Rs. 53,900 (Delhi). The bike gets the cafe racer makeover on India's number one motorcycle along with the engine tuned for a little higher power output.
Housing the same 97.2cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, the new Splendor Pro Classic delivers 8.25bhp of maximum power at 8,000rpm with increased compression ratio, which is 7.7bhp at 7,500rpm in the other models sporting the similar engine. Peak torque output of the engine remains almost unchanged with 8.05Nm coming at 5,000rpm. The bike retains the 4-speed constant mesh gearbox and the carburetor type fuel system and available in two classic colour options- Carbon Black and Solid Maroon.
