Hero Motocorp updated their website and added the all new Hunk to its list right before the official launch of its facelift version. The 2016 model of Hunk gets upgrades in the body graphics and the engine will now produce more power.The bike will be offered with the same overall styling, but some changes can be spotted in the lower part, as it is matched with a black paint scheme. The bike gets new headlights, revised instrument cluster with a stand indicator and crash guard. Projected fuel tank scoops with air vents can be spotted in the new facelifted version of Hero Hunk. With all these updates, the parts which remain the same as the old version are: tail lights, indicators and rear view mirrors.

Hero Hunk facelift will be equipped with a 150cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces a maximum power of 15.6bhp at 8500rpm and a peak torque of 13.50Nm at 7000rpm. The bike is offered with a 5-speed gearbox and the same telescopic fork unit at the front and a twin shock setup at the rear. Double disc has been offered as an option.

2016 Hunk will be available in various color options that are:
- Bold Brown
- Blazing Red
- Panther Black
- Matte Black
- Ebony Grey
- Force Silver
The machine has already reached the dealerships and the company has updated the price on its website, but an official announcement from the company is still awaited. The new Hero Hunk will be competing with Suzuki Gixxer, Bajaj Pulsar 150, Yamaha FZ-S and the upcoming Honda CB Hornet 160R.

I own this bike since 2011, I started to love this bike as this bike is soo much buttery smooth. So far I have ridden this bike for almost 45000/- Genuine. It has given me decent mileage of 35 to 37kmpl. In fact yesterday I measure the mileage it offered me 36kmpl. By cost wise, I changed the clutch, rear shocker, front shocker, battery 2 times, tyre 1 set. If you give regular service to your bike it will stay healthy for a long period. Looks good pickup and mileage . Comfort also matter
i purchased hero hunk in 2008 by my fathers money .i drove it in remote areas where there were no proper roads . the bike runs smooth , but now it has lost its pick up speed . it has been serviced every year at authorised showrooms . but since i drove it in the remote areas of Madhya Pradesh , its engine has been very roughed up . its front disk brake too has been broken ...i have given it for repair today again in Porvorim Goa at Wheel Magnet Hero Showroom . I m delighted to use Hunk as it has given me various enjoyable rides . Its tough , rapid , and very trendy . Especially its looks matter me the most . It is a smooth running high speed bike ...and its a matter of pride for me ...i am delighted to use it everyday ...and i enjoy its GRS technology . I hope it gives me many more years of safe speedy riding .
