As you can see, the average waiting period for the Ather 450X is a month, but can stretch up to around 8 weeks or two months in cities like Bengaluru and Pune.

It is likely that the increased waiting period is due to the global semiconductor chip shortage (among other things), which heavily impacts the manufacturing process of two-wheelers, especially electric ones.

Moreover, Ather Energy has revealed that the company sold about 3,779 units of the Ather 450X electric scooter in the month of April 2022. This number presents a 255 per cent year-on-year growth, and a 45.85 per cent sales growth when compared with March 2022.
