Is BSA’s first adventure bike
BSA has taken the wraps off a brand new adventure bike called the Thunderbolt at EICMA 2025. It is based on the Yezdi Adventure but has its own distinct identity along with a few more premium bits.

The bike gets a unique retro-themed design, with the tall wind-screen circular LED headlight, and the quarter fairing combo. Its asymmetrical twin-pod headlight is similar to the Yezdi Adventure, but the overall silhouette of the bike makes it look taller and more like a higher capacity model. The Thunderbolt reminds us of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, in some ways. It also feels pretty premium thanks to the gold-finished inverted fork setup, more on this in the forthcoming paragraphs.
Powering this ADV is the updated version of the Yezdi Adventure’s 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor. We can expect to see this engine coming to the Yezdi and Jawa lineup later in the future.
It gets an inverted fork with a gold-finish instead of a telescopic fork as the Yezdi Adventure. The fork is really eye-catching, especially with the rugged fork sleeves. Aside from this, the bike gets the same 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheel setup, with braking duties taken care of by discs at both ends.

Features-wise, this comes with a more premium TFT console as compared to the LCD unit on the Yezdi Adventure. The console offers smartphone connectivity and related features such as call/SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. The bike also gets 3 ABS modes (Rain, Road, Off-Road) and also a traction control system. Lastly, there’s also a USB charger for charging your phone on the go.
We really love how nostalgic this adventure bike looks, but it is unlikely to come to India. We think the brand will be offering it exclusively in foreign markets like it has with the BSA Bantam 350. That said, since the Thunderbolt comes with premium suspension and a fancier console, we might just see it on the Yezdi Adventure, perhaps in its next update.
