Ducati Motor has forayed with a huge range of bikes in India. The company comes with almost 20 bike models and booking for them has been frozen already. These bikes are available between price range of Rs. Rs 8 lakh to Rs 50 lakh. Now the company is spreading its wings across India with opening showroom in all major cities of India.

 

Ducati Motors is going to open its third dealership store in Bangalore and opening two dealership stores in Pune and Ahemdabad. In the Bangalore dealership store, the company has displayed 16 models of the bikes including popular Ducati 848, Ducati Monster, Ducati Hypermotard, Ducati Diavel and Ducati Multistrada. The price for Ducati range starts at Rs. 7.95 lakhs for the Monster to Rs. 20.45 lakhs for the Multistradsa MTS 1200T.

 

The company is reported to open 11 more dealerships across India by the next yer including Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Jaipur, Chandigarh and Kolkata. Meanwhile Ducati is planning to open an assembly plant in the India. The company has targeted to sell more than a couple of thousand bikes per year in the country by the year 2014-15.

 

Ducati Motors has sold 12 bikes in year  2010 against the target of 100 bikes through its two dealerships in the country. Ducati is the only superbike maker in the country which is offering its entire global bikes range in India as well.

 

Now the company is coming with the three new bike models in the month of January 2012 and these upcoming bikes are  Ducati 848 Evo, Ducati 1198 SP and the new Ducati Diavel. Right now Ducati Monster M 796 is the most popular bike from its portfolio which has price tag of Rs. 8.2 lakh.

I love it

All though this is a power house. I think I will buy it next time for racing. This is good but my Hayabusa 2018 is more compatible than Ducati Monster 1200 but if I get a chance to test ride it then I will go for it.Read More
