Hero Vida VX2 Plus Variants Explained

For Rs 14,500, the top variant is a bit more wholesome than the base in almost all aspects. Here’s how

The Vida VX2 Plus is Hero's premium electric scooter built around a swappable battery pack. Its design leans young and funky without going overboard, and the removable batteries mean you can charge it at home or at the office, much like charging a phone. Vida offers it in two variants based on battery size: the 3.4 kWh and the 4.4 kWh. The bigger battery costs Rs 14,500 more. We break down the differences with the help of the table below:

Which One To Buy?

We’d recommend going for the top variant as the larger battery means you can stay worry-free about range for regular commutes. Also, the extra Rs 14,500 premium won’t hurt as much in EMI terms. In the long term, a bigger battery will also mean fewer charge and discharge cycles for the same distance, which should help a bit in the battery’s overall health in the long term. The slightly higher top speed will be useful while overtaking or on short highway rides too.
