The race at the top is heating up, but TVS still holds the electric crown

Top 5 Best-Selling Electric Two-Wheeler Brands In India: June 2026 FADA Sales

India's electric two-wheeler market continued its strong upward trajectory in June 2026. According to the latest FADA retail data, 1,93,735 electric two-wheelers were sold, an increase of 13.47 percent MoM (Month-on-Month) and 74.98 percent YoY (Year-on-Year). More significantly, electric two-wheelers accounted for 10.6 percent of India's total two-wheeler retail sales for the first time ever, signalling growing consumer acceptance of EVs.

TVS: Holding On To The Crown

TVS remained the market leader with 47,064 units sold, up 76.05 percent YoY growth. The TVS iQube continued to be the brand's biggest volume contributor.

    Ola: Growth Slows Down

    A Growing Industry

The biggest takeaway from June 2026 isn't just the sales figures but the fact that electric two-wheelers have crossed the 10 percent market share mark for the first time, reaching 10.6 percent. This milestone reflects increasing buyer confidence, a wider range of products across price points, and improving charging infrastructure.

With more launches and stronger competition expected in the coming months, the EV segment appears well on its way to becoming a mainstream choice rather than being just an eco-friendly alternative.
