Suzuki Access 125 Ride Connect ABS Edition: Detailed Explainer
This is the cheapest scooter with ABS in India, and it costs less than a lakh!
The Suzuki Access 125 remains one of the most popular scooters among Indian families. Suzuki sells it in six variants, and the Ride Connect ABS Edition sits above the regular Ride Connect trim. Priced at Rs 97,030 (ex-showroom, Delhi), here's what you get when you choose this variant:
Design & Styling
Suzuki hasn't changed much visually across the Access range, and this trim is no exception. You get the same chrome-ringed LED headlamp, the U-shaped LED position light up front, and the matching U-shaped LED tail lamp at the rear. The rear-view mirrors carry a chrome finish too.
On the colours front, this one comes in five shades: Metallic Mat Black No. 2, Metallic Mat Stellar Blue, Pearl Grace White, Solid Ice Green, and Pearl Shiny Beige. Yes, Suzuki needlessly complicates the names of the colours. But do check out our detailed explainer of the colours for all the trims of Access.
Features
The instrument cluster on this trim is a Bluetooth-enabled monochrome digital display, the same setup found on the standard Ride Connect Edition. You get turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, phone battery level, and missed call notifications with caller ID, paired through the Suzuki Ride Connect app. It may not look as premium as the TFT display on the variant above this one; it still gets the job done, as it has all the necessary, usable information. In fact, even the TFT console has turn-by-turn navigation, so you’re not really losing out on much. We’ve explained all the features for Access 125 in detail.
Practical touches remain unchanged too, with a 24.4-litre under-seat storage space for everyday luggage, dual apron-mounted cubbyholes for smaller items, and an external fuel filler cap for easier refuelling.

As its name suggests, it's one of only two Access 125 variants to get single-channel ABS, working on the front wheel while the scooter retains its existing drum braking setup at the rear. In practical terms, that means better control during sudden braking than the non-ABS variants by reducing the chance of the front wheel locking up. Apart from the addition of ABS, the braking hardware remains the same as the Ride Connect variant, with a front disc and a rear drum brake.
Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork and a single shock absorber at the rear, unchanged from the rest of the range. The scooter rides on 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, measuring 90-section at both ends. Kerb weight comes in at 106kg.
Engine & Performance
Power comes from the same 124cc, air-cooled single-cylinder engine used across the Access 125 range, putting out 8.6PS at 6,500rpm and 10.2Nm at 5,000rpm. It’s surprisingly peppy and is genuinely fun to ride. With such peppy performance, ABS is welcome as it makes the handling a whole lot more confidence-inspiring.
BikeDekho Says
This is definitely the variant we’d suggest as it ticks all the necessities one is looking for in a family scooter. Additionally, it’s got exciting performance, and the safety of ABS will keep things in check in case you get too carried away. It offers better value for money over the flagship TFT-equipped ABS variant, as it still shows pretty much the same set of information.

Suzuki provide smooth engine, sound like angry beast, in 2013 we purchase 1st access 125 still in working with 42000 km so smooth, so trusted product and now new refresh with engine changes. Best in class. Comfortable but a manufacturing defect in chassis handle is tilt left side seat is right side alinement issue, Even if you try to explain it, the service center staff still won't understand. Only a true rider or a Japanese engineer could grasp this.
