Bajaj recently launched the 350cc version of the Bajaj Dominar 400 in India at Rs 2,03,214 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This move is aimed at benefiting from revised GST norms that favour sub-350cc motorcycles, making performance bikes more accessible. Here is how the motorcycle shapes up in its latest iteration:
Looks
The Dominar 400 retains its muscular and aggressive design that has remained largely unchanged over the years. The wide fuel tank, chunky USD fork, and sharp LED headlight give it a strong road presence. Despite its age, the design still manages to stand out on the road, and the same styling continues on the new 350cc version as well.

Colours

Engine And Performance
The Dominar 400 is powered by a 349.13cc liquid-cooled engine that produces 40.6PS and 33.2Nm. Despite being downsized now, the performance remains similar to the earlier version, with strong top-end performance and a rev-happy nature that should suit city and highway riding.

Features
The Dominar gets a decent list of features. It comes equipped with a fully digital instrument console borrowed from the Pulsar NS400Z, along with ride-by-wire throttle, traction control, and four riding modes: Rain, Road, Sport, and Off-road. It also gets dual-channel ABS and a powerful LED headlight for improved visibility.

The Dominar 400 features a 43mm USD fork with 135mm travel and a monoshock with 110mm travel. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with 110-section front and 150-section rear tyres. The bike uses a perimeter frame and gets a 320mm front and 230mm rear disc brake setup.

- Value for money bikeValue for money bike as it have around 40bhp power and look amazing when riding on highways. I bought it in 2018 and have done 80k. Bike have good road presence and led headlight give it a beast look. Bike is amazing when ride on highways. Maintenance cost is little higher as of poor service centre as they randomly guess about the fault. I went to them 7-8 time for coolant leak issue but they failed to repair it but every time they deliver me the bike confidently saying they have repaired it, enjoy the ride. If you looking for highway, daily commuting or for long ride of upto 300-500 km in a day, you can buy this bike at this price range under 2.5 lakh but only if u have any local mechanic who can service this bike and parts available.Read More3
