Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the Hayabusa Special Edition in India at Rs 19.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Along with the Special Edition, Suzuki has also updated the standard Hayabusa with three new colour options and some electronic changes.
What’s New?
The Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition gets a custom Pearl Vigor Blue paint scheme with special decals. It also gets a different wheel finish, a 3D Suzuki emblem and a special edition badge on the fuel tank. The exhaust muffler end and heat guard now feature anodised finishes, while a single-seat cowl is offered as standard, giving the bike a more exclusive look. The standard Hayabusa is now available in three new colour combinations: Candy Daring Red/Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Galaxy Gray/Candy Burnt Gold and Pearl Vigor Blue/Pearl Brilliant White. It continues to be priced at Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Suzuki has also equipped the Hayabusa with a new ELIIY Power lithium-ion battery, which is lighter and more compact. The launch control and power mode selector settings have also been revised. The smart cruise control system has been updated and can now remain active even while shifting gears.
What’s Unchanged?
The Hayabusa continues to use a 1,340 cc, inline-four-cylinder engine, producing 190 PS and 142 Nm. It comes with a six-speed gearbox and uses a twin-spar aluminium frame. Suspension duties are handled by adjustable KYB inverted fork and a rear monoshock. Braking hardware remains the same as well, with twin 320mm floating front discs and Brembo Stylema callipers.

The Special Edition adds some visual changes to the Hayabusa while the latest electronic updates make the package more refined. However, the core engine, chassis and braking hardware remain unchanged. At Rs 19.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), it is Rs 91,000 more expensive than the standard model.
