    Quick News Highlights

    • Bajaj has launched the 2025 Pulsar NS400Z in the country

    • The bike is priced at Rs 1,92,328 (ex-showroom, Delhi)

    • Performance upgrades, new features and better handling too

Bajaj Auto has launched the 2025 Pulsar NS400Z in India. The bike is priced at Rs 1,92,328 (ex-showroom Delhi), making it Rs 11,010 costlier than the previous iteration of the bike. Here’s an overview on what the updated bike gets:

The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is still powered by the same 373cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, same as before, but the engine is now tweaked internally to produce more power. The bike now produces 43PS, about 3PS more from the previous model. To handle the extra power, the bike’s internals have to be worked on for better durability, and heat management. Also, the design of the radiator cowl of the bike has been tweaked in a way to draw the heat away from the legs of the rider.

Also, with the added performance, the 0-60kmph and 0-100kmph acceleration times have gotten quicker too. It takes 2.7 seconds to reach 60kmph, whereas 100kmph from standstill is achieved in 6.4 seconds. The top speed has also increased from 150kmph to 157kmph. All figures are claimed. Additionally, the bike has now been updated with a bidirectional quickshifter too, that allows shifting gears without the use of the clutch.

To ensure the Pulsar handles well with the added power, the Pulsar NS400Z now comes equipped with a 110-section front and a bigger 150-section rear (both radial) Apollo Alpha H1 tyres. Radial tyres have more flexible sidewalls that ensure better grip while cornering as compared to non-radial tyres. The 2025 model also comes with sintered brake pads at the front, which ensures better braking performance as well as longer life when compared to organic brake pads in the previous-generation bike.

    BikeDekho Says

All the updates are pretty meaningful as they go a long way in improving the overall riding experience. Bajaj has nailed the pricing of the bike, as it goes against premium bikes that offer similar performance, but at a much higher price tag. It is still the cheapest 40PS bike in India. We think that the ‘Pulsar’ nametag has always been synonymous with performance for the aam aadmi, and the 2025 Pulsar NS400Z does proper justice to it, at least on paper.
