Ultraviolette Automotive has officially launched the F77 Superstreet in India at an introductory price of Rs 2,99,000 (ex-showroom). The Superstreet is based on the same platform as the F77 Mach 2, but gets a single-piece handlebar instead of clip-ons for a more upright and relaxed riding position, along with a redesigned aerodynamic front panel that redirects airflow around the rider. It is expected to reduce wind drag and improve high speed stability.
Variants

The F77 Superstreet is available in two variants: the Superstreet, which is priced at Rs 2,99,000 (introductory and ex-showroom Bengaluru), and the SuperStreet Recon, pricing for which is yet to be announced. Both models retain the aggressive styling of the F77 Mach 2, featuring sharp body panels and a raised tail section. The redesigned front-end not only enhances aerodynamics but also adds a refined look to the motorcycle. It is available in a total of four colours: Turbo Red, Afterburner Yellow, Stellar White, and Cosmic Black.
Battery And Motor

The Ultraviolette Superstreet has a 7.1kWh battery, delivering a claimed real world range of 211km on a single full charge. The motorcycle is equipped with a Permanent Magnet AC motor producing 36.2PS and 90Nm and has a claimed top speed of 155kmph. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 7.8 seconds. The Recon variant has a 10.3kWh battery, offering a significantly higher range of 323km. It uses the same motor, but generates 40.2PS and 100Nm. While both variants share the same top speed, the Recon is slightly quicker, accelerating from 0-100 kmph in 7.7 seconds and 0-40 kmph in 2.7 seconds.
Underpinnings

The chassis of the Superstreet remains unchanged from the Mach 2, with an inverted fork and a monoshock, both offering preload adjustability. Braking is handled by a 320mm front and a 240mm rear disc, with 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends. The standard SuperStreet variant has a kerb weight of 197kg, while the Recon variant weighs 207kg. The motorcycle has a seat height of 800mm and a ground clearance of 160mm.
Features

The bike gets features like a full colour TFT display, three riding modes: Glide, Combat, and Ballistic. It also gets a ride-by-wire throttle, four levels of traction control, and ten levels of regenerative braking. Additional features include hill-hold assist, charge limit settings, park assist, and dynamic stability control. A significant update is the inclusion of a Type 2 charging interface, which allows the motorcycle to be charged at AC public charging stations across India, making long distance travel more convenient.
Rivals And Availability

While the F77 Superstreet does not have direct electric rivals in India, but its combination of performance, design, and price positions it as a strong alternative to similarly priced petrol priced bikes like the KTM Duke 390 and the TVS Apache RTR310. The Superstreet will be available for sale across India, with deliveries set to begin in March 2025. Bookings will open on January 31, 2025, through the official Ultraviolette website.
