The Bajaj Chetak 3501 is the flagship variant in the range. It not only has good practicality but also a long list of features. It costs Rs 1,39,605 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), but to ease the burden of upfront payment, you might choose to buy the Chetak on loan. If that’s the case, here’s how much EMI you would need to pay across different loan tenures, if you make a downpayment of Rs 20,000, at an interest rate of 9.7%.
18 Months
If you choose a tenure of 18 months, your monthly EMI will be Rs 7,724. During this period, you will pay Rs 10,130 as interest, and the total bank repayment comes to Rs 1,39,032.
24 Months
If you opt for a 24 month tenure to reduce your EMI, your monthly payment will be Rs 5,930. For this tenure the interest amount increases by Rs 3,288, bringing the final interest amount Rs 13,418. Your total bank repayment comes to Rs 1,42,320.
36 Months
You can extend your loan tenure up to 36 months, which reduces your EMI to Rs 4,141. However, the interest amount rises to Rs 20,174. The total cost of the scooter comes to Rs 1,49,075 plus the downpayment.

I had purchased it when ev was new in market, I am very much satisfied. I had drove it for more than 50000 kms with no expense. I had to change only tyres and regular service only one auxiliary battery of Rs. 800 had been changed. I am quiet impressed me and my son both have purchased but there is very less front space between handle and seat to carry extra luggage vegetables or ration need to improve in this area good service staff in patni and Nagpur. I choose this bike because, I heard from someone electric bike is more value for money, first I thought there will not so much difference then I search, I saw it so value for money and I adviced to buy a chetak. My ride was so far because this EV is the most value for money fuel, first I was using a bike of 160 cc it's average for me was very less in 1 litre petrol it goes nearly 25 to 27 km but, I have taken EV so no need to go for petrol thanks.
