We already reported you that the British auto maker, Ariel Motor has decided to re-enter the two wheeler market. Now, the company has revealed street fighter and racer versions of a highly customizable machine- ACE, which is nearing its launch.

Ariel is better known for its bare-bone, four-wheeled track machine- Atom. However, this is not the first time when the company is introducing a two-wheeler. It was a renowned name in the sector from 1902 before folding in BSA.

The new Ariel ACE has been crafted from high quality Honda parts and shares the heart of Honda VFR1200F. The motorcycle also has an Atom effect as it gets a bare-bone chassis, which allows different customisations.

Powered by a 1237cc, V-4 engine, the bike delivers 173bhp of maximum power at 10,000rpm and the top torque value goes upto 131Nm at 8,750rpm. The gearbox is optional and you can chose from 6-speed manual and switchable Honda's DCT unit.

The bike is capable to do a 0-100kmph mark in mere 3.4 seconds, while achieving a top speed of 265kmph. Many of the other parts including seat, fuel tank, suspensions, exhaust, etc. are customizable with optional seat height and wheelbase.

Starting price of the Ariel ACE has been set at £20,000 (approx Rs. 20.45 lakh according to the current exchange rates), which includes 20% VAT.
