2020 Suzuki Hayabusa Launched In India

It will be the final BS4 production model available in limited numbers

Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Suzuki has launched the legendary Hayabusa in India in its 2020 avatar. Unfortunately, this will be the last hurrah for the supersport that was the first ‘Made-in-India’ litre-class bike from Suzuki Motorcycle India. As a result, it’ll be offered in limited numbers. Changes come in the form of two new paint schemes: Metallic Thunder Gray and Candy Daring Red, along with new graphics and front brake calipers. All this for a price of Rs 13,74,941 (ex-showroom Delhi).

This will be the last lot of the BS4 production models made available for India thanks to its cult following. The manic supersport hasn’t seen much change over the years aside from cosmetic updates and a couple of mechanical modifications. With the Euro 5/ BS6 regulation deadline closing in, Suzuki will be looking at either giving the bike a resorted heart, which produces lower tailpipe emissions, or a much-needed overhaul. The latter being the most probable approach. We say this because the brand has already filed patents for an all-new model, which is likely to be unveiled by 2020, with an expected launch date of 2021.

The fresh edition, which will be the final BSIV production model available in limited quantity, will also come with new graphics and front brake caliper. Over the years, Suzuki Hayabusa has evolved while staying true to its concept of being at the pinnacle of high-performance motorcycles.
