Hero Motocorp, one of India's biggest two-wheeler manufacturer in India, has made available the new 2014 model of its female specific scooter, Pleasure at Rs. 51,000 (on-road, Delhi). The manufacturer has also designed an official site for the scooter addressed as www.heropleasure.com. All the required information about the new Pleasure is given on the site.
Hero Pleasure now comes with 9 color schemes that makes it more eye-pleasing and pleasant. The color options are Outgoing Orange, Beautiful Blue, Gorgeous Grey, Perky Purple, Bold Black, Ravishing Red, Spectacular Silver, Witty White and Playful Red and White. Hero has powered the scooter with a 102cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, OHC engine mated with the automatic transmission. The engine is tuned to produce a maximum power of 6.74bhp at 7000rpm and a peak torque of 7.85Nm at 5000rpm. The top speed of the two-wheeler is set at 77kmph.
Hero Motocorp Pleasure has been equipped with bottom link with spring-loaded hydraulic damper at the front suspension and unit swing with spring-loaded hydraulic damper at the rear one. The tyres chosen to run the scoot are 90/100 X 10 - 53 J Tubeless Tyres at both the ends. The braking system of the bike includes 130mm drum brakes at both the ends along with the Integrated Braking System (IBS). The dimensions of the scoot are quite feasible for the female riders and with the kerb weight of just 103kg, it becomes more easy for girls. With the 5-liter large fuel tank capacity, the scoot is also made fuel economic.
