The Motovolt Hum is a multi-utility hardtail (one that does not have a rear shock absorber) electric bicycle. The Motovolt Hum comes with a storage space on the frame, along with a tail rack, making it ideal for load carrying.

The Motovolt Hum lineup comprises two versions— Standard, and Smart Plus. Both come in four variants: Normal Range, Mid Range, Long Range, and Long Range Fast Charge. The Standard variant with Normal Range costs Rs 32,849. The same variant with Mid Range, Long Range, and Long range with fast charging cost Rs 35,975, Rs 39,253, and Rs 42,753 respectively. On the other hand, the Smart Plus with Normal and Mid Range are priced at Rs 36,529 and Rs 39,655 respectively. The Long range and Long Range with Fast Charge variants retail at Rs 43,434 and Rs 46,434 respectively. This rugged electric bicycle is available in four colours: Orange, Black, Blue, and Grey.

Motovolt Hum Key Features

The Motovolt Hum comes with an LED headlight and tail light, along with a small LCD instrument console which shows the speed, battery level, range, odometer and tripmeter readings. The connected versions get 'Find My E-bike', vehicle theft alert, geo-fencing, battery analytics, trip details, customer support, among others. It also gets full-length mudguards at both ends.

Motovolt Hum Motor and Battery

The vertical battery placed below the seat of the Motovolt Hum is a 36V battery pack with varying capacities of 16Ah, 12Ah, and 6Ah. The electric bicycle’s rear wheel is powered by a 0.25kW rear hub-mounted electric BLDC motor, which enables the Hum to attain a top speed of 25kmph in electric only mode. You might be able to reach a higher top speed by pedalling faster, but the e-cycle does not have multiple gears. 

The Motovolt Hum's 36V 16Ah battery pack can provide a maximum range of 75km in throttle-only mode. However, with pedal assist mode, it can deliver a maximum range of 120 km. The battery pack is IP67 tested, and is fire resistant too.

Motovolt Hum Suspension & Brakes

The Motovolt Hum's TIG-welded frame is linked to a telescopic fork at the front. Though it is a hardtail bicycle, it gets a sprung seat for better comfort. This electric bicycle from Motovolt has 26-inch wheels with tube-type tyres and mechanical disc brakes for both wheels.
