Komaki XGT X5 Latest Updates

The Komaki XGT-X5 electric scooter for the elderly and differently abled has been launched in India at Rs 72,500 for the VRLA gel battery variant and Rs 90,500 for the version with the lithium-ion battery pack, both ex-showroom Delhi.

The electric scooter comes with a twin rear wheel setup with dual shock absorbers and a single front wheel suspended on a telescopic fork. Braking is via discs at both ends with regenerative braking. The e-scooter is powered by a 60V/72V electric motor linked to either a 20-30Ah lithium-ion or a VRLA gel battery. It takes around 4-5 hours to charge the lithium-ion battery pack whereas it goes up to 6-8 hours for the VRLA variant. Both electric scooters offer a claimed range of around 80-90km. As a one-of-a-kind electric scooter, designed specifically for the elderly and the physically challenged, the Komaki XGT-X5 has no natural rivals.
