Overview
Honda CB Unicorn 160 is a muscular motorcycle with a considerable style quotient, a decent mileage and an impressive performance. The list of features includes aerodynamic front visor with AHO (Automatic Headlamp On), CBS with equalizer, digital meter console and a mono suspension system. The bike has it all to win hearts of onlookers and convert them into customers. Falling in the premium bike category, it has the required poise, class and most importantly muscular look that young buyers drool over. The fuel tank design is bold while the headlamp’s bikini fairing upfront makes it further enticing.
The 160cc bike delivers great performance, adorns subtle yet aggressive appeal and yields out satisfactory fuel economy of 62Kmpl. The suspension assembly is more than capable of managing bumps, undulations and potholes offering stress-free experience to the rider and the pillion. At the front, there are conventional telescopic forks while at the rear end there are mono-shock spring loaded hydraulic shock absorbers. If you wish to purchase it then you need to shell out Rs 73,210 (Ex-showroom, Delhi) for the Standard variant and Rs 79,210 (Ex-showroom, Delhi) for the CBS variant.
Design
With the objective to impress the youth, wrapping the CB Unicorn 160 in a sporty skin looked mandatory for the Honda designers. The CB Unicorn 160 looks fantastic from the word go. Designed on a naked bike theme, the CB Unicorn 160 has a sharp headlamp cluster which is graced further by the presence of bikini fairing, big black windscreen and clear lens turn blinkers. There is a large fuel tank with adequate shrouds, dual-tone graphics and company’s emblem inscribed on it. The tank shrouds make it for a comfortable riding position. The dual-tone front fender looks decent as well.
The digital meter console comes with amber lighting that offers useful information to the rider. It is a combination of a speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, odometer, trip meter and clock. The blacked out side panel looks superb as well. The side of the bike is dominated by a large metal plate, which adds to the solidity big time. The long seat is extremely comfortable and the bike ends quite nicely with theme-matched tail lamp section. There are multiple colour options to choose from of which Matte Marvel Blue Metallic has been added recently. Dimensionally it measures 2045mm long, 757mm wide and 1060mm high. Ground clearance stands at 150mm and wheelbase is around 1324mm.
Features
As far as safety is concerned, there is AHO that illuminates the road regardless of the type of weather and light conditions which makes it easy for the rider to manoeuvre. The brake setup is coupled with CBS and equalizer that ensure braking mechanism performs more efficiently than usual. The bike sports tubeless tyres that do not deflate at once in case of a puncture. This extends stability quotient and allows the rider some extra time to reach the nearby workshop for tyre repairing.
Engine, Mileage & Performance
The CB Unicorn 160 is powered by an air-cooled 4-stroke SI 162.71cc engine that churns out a max power of 13.82PS at 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 13.92Nm at 6000 rpm. The company claims that it can yield a mileage of 62kmpl. The engine is refined and comes with Honda Eco Technology making it BS-IV compliant as well. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission system that is claimed to attain a top speed of 106kmph. The bike breathes via a viscous paper filter and comes to life with an easy electric starter or kick.
Handling & Ride Quality
Built on diamond frame, the Honda CB Unicorn 160 rides on telescopic front forks and spring loaded Mono-shock hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. The suspension duties are carried out quite brilliantly by the integrated setup. City ride on CB Unicorn 160 is smooth while the highways aren’t bad either. You’ll enjoy cruising on this premium Honda bike wherever you take it. You feel safe and in control of the bike all the time. Thanks to CBS with equalizer and disc brakes. Both the variants get 240mm front disc brake and 130mm drum brake at the rear. However, the CBS with equalizer comes only with range-topping variant and is not a stock feature for the base variant. Talking about the tyres, front sports 80/100 tubeless tyre and the rear end features 110/80 tyre wrapped around the 17-inch six-spoke black alloy wheels.

- Unicorn 160 2026 reviewI am a tall guy and this bike fits me. It's smooth to drive. Average is good plus the pick up is good. The speed is great and it feels great to ride this bike. Led panel, self start, ABS are nice feature. Ride so far has been very comfortable and smooth upright seating, soft suspension, and stable handling make city traffic easy. On open roads it is relaxed, though at high speeds it feels less punchy and slightly firm. Buy the Honda Unicorn 160 OBD if you want a reliable, economical commuter with smooth ride, low running cost and comfy ergonomics. Best for daily city use not ideal for aggressive sporty riding.
