The Honda Gold Wing is a touring motorcycle. It features a lot of features and mechanical bits which are not that common in bikes. The Gold Wing is currently the flagship touring motorcycle from Honda. On June 12, 2026, Honda launched the 2026 Gold Wing In India.

The Honda Gold Wing has a touring bike design, with a tall windscreen and massive-looking fairings. The bike also features a large rider seat and a pillion seat with backrest. The bike also has hard panniers and a top box, which also adds to the bulky profile overall. Overall, the bike looks good and has a premium touch.
Honda Gold Wing Engine, Mileage and Performance
The Honda Gold Wing is powered by a 1833cc, liquid-cooled, 4 stroke, 24-valve, six-cylinder engine which outputs 126PS at 5,500rpm and 170Nm at 4,500rpm. The engine is paired to an automatic 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. To manually change gears, the rider can use the buttons on the left hand side switchgear.
The bike gets 4 riding modes: Tour, Sport, Econ and Rain. Along with this, the bike also gets a reverse mode and a walk mode that make it easy to handle the bike’s heavy weight.
Honda Gold Wing Features
The Honda Gold Wing has an analogue speedometer and tachometer. Along with this, it gets an LCD inset for gear position and fuel level. The console also has a 7-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity for call/SMS alerts, music control, and navigation.
The bike also gets a speaker setup mounted on the fairing. It has an airbag setup installed for additional rider safety. In terms of electronic riding aids, the bike has a cruise control system and a traction control system. The bike also gets a top box which can easily hold two full-face helmets.
Honda Gold Wing Suspension, Chassis, Brakes, Wheels, Suspension
The Honda Gold Wing is built on an aluminium frame and is suspended on a wishbone unit at the front. The wishbone suspension features a single shock absorber connected to two A-shaped arms. The bike gets a pro-link suspension unit at the rear, with electronically adjustable preload. The bike rolls on an 18-inch front and 16-inch rear alloy wheel setup. Braking is handled by a twin-320mm disc setup at the front and a single 316mm disc at the rear.
The Honda Gold Wing has a 21-litre fuel tank. It has a ground clearance of 130mm. The kerb weight comes to 393kg.
