    Overview

At the 2014 Indian Auto Expo, India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer company, Hero had unfolded many upcoming models that were to be launched in some time. At the event, the company had rolled out 15 model including the restyled model of its old 150cc motorcycle, Xtreme. This redesigned bike gets lots of amazing features that make it look more appealing and likable. Hero Xtreme was first introduced in 2008 and till now it is doing well in the Indian market. It is quite interesting to see that the bike maker is working on the convenience and comfort for the customers of this bike  rather than modifying the bike and making it better in terms of visual appeal only. The manufacturer  offers two variants of the bike namely, Hero Xtreme Single Disc and Hero Xtreme Double Disc. To make the bike more resistant and strong, the company has designed it on a Tubular, Diamond Type frame.

The maker of the machine uses the same engine that was  used in its previous version and the mill generates 14.2 Bhp of power and 12.8 Nm of torque. The all new Xtreme lacks the undercowl, integrated blinkers, and plain edges. Furthermore, the bike features ten-spoke alloy wheels, front and rear suspensions. Besides this, it also sports some new element that enhanced its look that are, sporty headlights with Day Running Lights (DRLs), LED tail light, wider rear tyre, dual finish sporty muffler, analog plus digital instrument cluster and an under the seat mobile charger.

      Old but gold
Hi, my name is Abhijeet and I own a Hero Xtreme from past 4 years. It’s been a great time riding this machine on various parts of the country. I have been to different states on this motorcycle and the engine of the machine is simply a fighter. The smooth and crisp throttle response makes me a fan everytime I push the throttle. I love the ingenious craftsmanship of HERO and highly appreciate their work on making of this machine. It is the best and most worthy 150cc bike I have ever ridden so far. It is better than the Pulsar 150 and Apache 160. I like the instrumentation but seriously loved the all new Xtreme Sport, which has left me vulnerable as I am no situation to afford a new motorcycle. However, soon I’ll be able to own one but it will be time to buy a high displacement engine. The fuel efficiency of the bike is high and the overall performance of the bike is simply remarkable. It is affordable and fulfils almost every need of the rider.
