Geliose, a Delhi-based startup, has launched its first EV at Rs 46,999. The Hope is one of the most affordable e-scooters that packs a battery of features, including IoT. Read this story to know more.
The Geliose Hope is powered by a 250W BLDC hub motor paired with a lithium-ion battery. The brand is offering the e-scooter with three battery options -- 18Ah, 24Ah, and 30Ah. The battery takes four hours for a full charge and offers a range of up to 75km, depending on the battery pack.
It is one of the most affordable EVs in the market to be equipped with Internet of Things (IoT), allowing for features like fleet management, geofencing, data monitoring, and analytics. Other features include LED lighting, an LCD instrument console, and parking assist with reverse mode.
Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks and dual shocks, while drum brakes at both ends handle the braking. The Geliose Hope also comes equipped with pedals to take care of the range anxiety.
The Geliose Hope goes up against the Okinawa Dual, Detel Easy Plus, and the Hero Electric Nyx.
